King Prince This weeks fly of the week is the King Prince. This is a knockoff of the old stand by Prince Nymph. It just has some added touch ups that help make it even more of a effective fly in your trout slaying arsenal. The one thing that adds a lot to this fly is the hook. It is tied on a scud style hook making it have a swimming bug look and an extremely stout wire. Also this fly has some added strength coming from the dubbed body. The peacock on the original Prince nymph has a tendency to be fragile where as dubbing very rarely becomes damaged.
