Signal Light Fly of the week: Signal Light
This fly represents yet another very effective northwest fly pattern. The Signal Light resembles the very essence of its name, a Signal Light! This is a highly effective Steelhead pattern, and should be fished as all others, ON THE BOTTOM. Darker presence and the addition of chartreuse as well as hot pink only add to the attention gathering characteristics of this fly. By using a little marabou for the under wing, the Traffic Light literally comes alive. Remember this and other Steelhead, Salmon flies are designed to be seen from behind as a predator would see them.
