The Zonker  Fly of the week: The Zonker
Since I have included the zonker in most of my fishing reports. It seems only fitting to include this little gem as fly of the week. A relatively easy fly to tie, it has become one of my favorites. Zonkers are a great baitfish imitator. From the flash of the Mylar to the enticement of the rabbit fur, this fly truly catches fish! The variations in ties are absolutely limitless. Most predatory fish are highly attracted to this particular tie of silver and black. Try your own mix of colors and find out for yourself why I include this fly in so many reports.

Body: Mylar tubing (in your choice of colors)
Upper Body and Tail: Bunny strip
